چکیده
Background: According to CDC, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is responsible for infertility in women with 6-12% incidences all over the world. The current treatment options available have several side effects such as amenorrhea and obesity amongst others. Dietary interventions non-estrogenic androgen-suppressing foods along nutraceutical products considered treating PCOS minimum effects. One product of Zenherbs lab called FertiZen-R™ a combination three phytochemicals from plants viz., Foeniculum vulgare, Linum Usitatissimum, Glycyrrhiza glabra, hibiscus extract developed treat control PCOS. Methods: was quantified presence glycyrrhizic acid, polyphenols, saponins. It further tested estrogenic/anti-estrogenic potential on estrogen-positive breast cancer cell line (MCF-7) using an E-Screen assay. Results: showed 5% glycyrrhizinic saponins, 2-3% polyphenols. exhibited strong anti-estrogenic 40-50% inhibition concentrations low 0.156 mg/ml like tamoxifen (IC50 at mg/ml), while inositol, natural growth promoter, no effect viability. Conclusions: when in-vitro can be used even ER-positive cells. However, clinical studies determine dosage are required warrant FertiZen-R™.

Limiting effects of RIP140 in estrogen signaling: potential mediation of anti-estrogenic effects of retinoic acid.
The receptor interacting protein 140 (RIP140) belongs to a unique subclass of nuclear receptor coregulators with the ability to bind and repress the action of a number of agonist-bound hormone receptors. We have previously demonstrated that all-trans-retinoic acid (RA) induction of RIP140 constitutes a rate-limiting step in the regulation of retinoid receptor signaling. Here we demonstrate that...

متن کاملA Chip for Estrogen Receptor Action: Detection of Biomarkers Released by MCF-7 Cells through Estrogenic and Anti-Estrogenic Effects
The fluorescence-based multi-analyte chip platform for the analysis of estrogenic and anti-estrogenic substances is a new in vitro tool for the high throughput screening of environmental samples. In contrast to existing tools, the chip investigates the complex action of xenoestrogens in a human cell model by characterizing protein expression. It allows for the quantification of 10 proteins secr...
متن کاملThe in vivo estrogenic and in vitro anti-estrogenic activity of permethrin and bifenthrin.
Pyrethroids are highly toxic to fish at parts per billion or parts per trillion concentrations. Their intended mechanism is prolonged sodium channel opening, but recent studies reveal that pyrethroids such as permethrin and bifenthrin also have endocrine activity. Additionally, metabolites may have greater endocrine activity than parent compounds. The authors evaluated the in vivo concentration...
